Eva Proudman, MIT IAT, Chairman of the Institute of Trichologists, carried out a clinical trial into the effects and benefits of Absolute Collagen’s thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner.
As Member of the Institute of Trichologists, and current Chairman of the Institute, Eva is bound by a strict ethical code of Practice, to ensure that any advice or information that she gives is not misleading in any way, and does not promise miracle cures that are in any way unfounded, untested or simply not true.
The trial lasted 12 weeks and measured the hair density, diameter, and amount of single, double and triple follicular units. After 8 weeks, up to 20% increase in hair thickness was observed in trial participants who used both the shampoo and conditioner together 5 times a week.
