Gabriella Baki is an associate professor at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is the program director and main instructor of various lectures and laboratories in the BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design major. 

Dr. Baki is a pharmacist, graduated in 2008 from the University of Szeged, Hungary; and has a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the same university. Dr. Baki’s main research focuses on the topical delivery of active ingredients, sensory testing of creams and lotions, and SFP boosting technologies. Dr. Baki has made 20+ technical presentations, written 45+ publications, contributed to a few book chapters and has a book, Introduction to Cosmetic Formulation and Technology; its second edition published by John Wiley and Sons in January of 2023.

Dr. Baki is also actively involved in the cosmetic science community and serves as chair of SCC NextGen Advisory Committee in 2023.

Erik Frey, founder and principal at Green Saturdays. Erik has 20 years of packaging experience, with past roles overseeing packaging engineering, development, sustainability, and industrial design. With Green Saturdays, he provides packaging design, development, and innovation services to leading and emerging brands. Prior in-house roles include Tatcha, Kendo Brands, Sephora, Bare Escentuals, and Method. 

Fabrizia Grimaldi is a doctor of pharmacy, specialized in Cosmetic Science and Technology and founder of FF Cosmetics Srl, a technology-driven start-up from Bolzano in the cosmetics sector. In 2021, she launched Hormoon, brand which for the first time relates skincare to female hormonal fluctuations, from the menstrual cycle to menopause, including pregnancy and breastfeeding.

John is a Beauty Industry Packaging and Supply Chain professional who possesses extensive knowledge in all facets of the new product development process including sustainable materials such as mechanical and chemical PCR resins, plastics injection molding, custom package design execution.  His career spans 25 years working with global companies such as L’Oréal USA, Estee Lauder Companies, Access Business Group, and Olaplex Inc and has managed numerous new product launches.

Akshay Talati, a pharmacist, is an expert in cosmetic research and innovation, having championed hundreds of successful products across 23 brands for Estée Lauder, Unilever, L’Oréal, and Goop, over his 30 years career. Currently, as head of product development for Goop, a trending wellness and lifestyle brand, he leads expansion beyond skincare into makeup, haircare, and supplements. He also serves as Vice President of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, is an executive advisor, honorary professor, speaker, and writer for several trade shows and publications, co-founded Skindie™, and actively engages in mentoring professionals seeking guidance in the beauty industry.
