And the new Night Collagen Drink, to be consumed in the evening, is formulated with collagen derived from the skin of North Atlantic cod – whose structure is similar to that of human skin – and is approved as a medical product to heal burns. The drink includes wild cod collagen peptides from sustainable Norwegian fisheries; elastin from eggshell membrane; and organic silicon from horsetail.

In 2012, the pioneer from Hamburg launched the world's first Hyaluron Drink. 10 years later, medical research is the impetus for a new PROCEANIS product, the Collagen Drink. The skin of the North Atlantic cod is an approved medical product used to rebuild the skin of burns. The new Collagen Drink combines premium wild cod collagen peptides from sustainable Norwegian fisheries with elastin from eggshell membrane and organic silicon from horsetail in a vitamin-rich acerola extract and pomegranate extract full of polyphenols. In 2023 PROCEANIS launched with the Collagen Drink the world's first Day & Night Nutricosmetic.

Likewise the amino acid profile of cod skin is nearly identical to the human skin amino acid profile which makes it the ideal food for human skin. Together with the eggshell membrane and the organic silicon the collagen drink claims to be the highest quality and most effective product on the market. Proceanis sells mainly in environmentally friendly glass bottles lasting 20 days. The sustainable packaging is made of glass and natural paper. How do you promote your product on multiple channels?
We advertise our articles online via google ads, our own Instagram profile and influencers on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube. Certain podcasts have proven to be ideal, which are perfectly tailored to the target group, such as the "fast and curious" podcast in Germany. Another important part of our online marketing is our mail program, including our newsletter with certain promotions on public holidays or special days such as Mother's Day, Valentine's Day or World Oceans Day. During these campaigns, we also market our products with self-designed accessories such as silk scarves or beach bags in our design. We have a high repurchase rate of over 57% and offer our regular customers the opportunity to buy our products in environmentally friendly cartons made from recycled paper without the measuring cup at reduced prices. Offline, we work together with high-quality, owner-managed perfumeries and beauty salons whose staff are regularly trained by us and who sell our products as complementary skin care from within. In dermatology practices, our products are offered as an adjuvant treatment and are also prescribed by some doctors for customers with very dry skin. Medical spas such as the Lanserhof carry our products, as do the high-quality spas of the David Lloyd Group, in Germany the Merdian Club. Our third pillar is carefully selected distributors abroad with whom we work closely in marketing to create country-specific online profiles or flagship stores. China and Korea are among our strongest markets. Within the EU, we are already well represented in Spain and Poland and are currently preparing the launch in the UAE and KSA with our partners. In the USA, a Proceanis subsidiary will be founded this year and we hope to launch in the USA in 2024. We are still looking for the perfect partner in Italy, France and the UK.

What is you brand commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and social responsibility? Please describe.
All of our products are developed without animal testing. The cod fish used for our Collagen is MSC certified. 78% of the Proceanis sales are made in environmentally friendly glass bottles lasting 20 days instead of daily portions in PET vials like the competitors do. The sustainable packaging is made of glass and natural paper for best recycling. The product vials for travelling are made from 100% recycled PET. Regular customers get our drinks in the so called Gaia-Edition at a lowered price without the measuring glass and the glass bottle packed in a very simple cardboard box. We source all of our raw materials and packaging materials in Germany and Italy. With every Proceanis product sold, 3 mangroves are planted through the Malizia mangrove park in the Phillipines. This corresponds to 21.6 kg bound CO2 per year per sold Proceanis product or 540 kg bound CO2 over the minimum lifespan of a mangrove of 25 years.
