Alerasia is a sustainable brand inspired by the excellence of Monferrato, a UNESCO territory for its extraordinary wine-growing landscapes. Alerasia scented candles come from the creative recycling of post-consumer wine bottles that are reborn as handcrafted design works. Alerasia products can even have a third life and be reused as home accessories.
Fragrances also accompany us on this experiential journey through Monferrato, offering aromas linked to the territory. The new fragrance “Pesca e Cortese” combines the sweet and fruity notes of the Volpedo Peach with the fresh and sparkling notes of Cortese.

This scented candle is presented in a vessel crafted from an upcycled wine bottle, drawing on the heritage of the brand’s home of Monferrato, Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its wine-growing landscapes. Fashioned by a master glassmaker, the bottles are shaped with a blowtorch to create the vessels’ smooth edges. The candle’s scent, meanwhile, Pesca e Cortese, is inspired by the fresh, sparkling notes of Cortese wine and the fruity scent of Volpedo peaches, both native to the Monferrato region. The scent’s top notes are grape, neroli, peach, and orange; its heart notes pear, almond, and apple; and its base notes floral notes and acacia. After the candle has finished burning, the vessel can be used as a drinking glass.

Technology Features
Alerasia scented candles are born from the upcycling of post-consumer wine bottles. The empty bottles are recovered through a collaboration with selected partners. The bottles are handcrafted by a specialized master glassmaker who carries out an artistic process, transforming them into small masterpieces. The glasses are worked hot with a blowtorch to obtain the special processing of the edges. In this way they are rounded allowing the new products to be used as glasses for water and wine. Furthermore, thanks to this process, they resist washing in the dishwasher.
The packaging is made of recycled cardboard for greater sustainability.

The Alerasia brand produces home fragrances inspired by the rich heritage of Monferrato resources. This geographical area has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage list for its extraordinary wine-growing landscapes. The territory and in particular the world of wine, so traditionally and lively linked to these lands, has inspired the birth of the fragrances that want to lead on an ideal experiential journey through the territory.
As we know, perfumes and smells have a primary connection with memory and recollection. For this reason, Alerasia wanted to exploit the scents of the vineyards, wines and fruits of Monferrato to bring, even every day into your home, the joy and serenity of an unforgettable journey.
Alerasia wanted to inextricably unite in its name the memory of two lovers who, as legend has it, gave rise to the Monferrato area: the brave knight Aleramo and Adelasia, the beautiful daughter of Emperor Otto of Saxony.
