IntoDerma Hyaluron Micro Crystal Essence
MITI Systems Inc (South Korea)
A skin care formula that captures the effect of microneedles in an oil essence that contains soluble hyaluronic acid microcrystals. In this two-step treatment, the essence is first applied to the face, and the skin semulated by soily rubbing where it’s applied. Then, the accompanying serum is applied in a circular moeon, with this aceon dissolving the micro crystals. Finally, the user taps their face to improve the absorpeon of the aceve ingredients. It's claimed that the soluble micro crystals have a micro-needle-like effect on the skin, helping aceve ingredients to pass through the skin’s proteceve film for a more amplified result. Among the accompanying serum’s ingredients are shea buner, jojoba seed extract, sunflower seed extract, macadamia seed extract, kelp, royal jelly, and evening primrose.
The Cosmopack Awards judging panel were intrigued by this skin care formulation, which captures the effect of microneedles in an oil essence that contains soluble hyaluronic acid microcrystals.
Its two-step treatment sees the essence first applied to the face, and the skin stimulated by softly rubbing where it’s applied. Then, the accompanying serum is applied in a circular motion, with this action dissolving the micro crystals. This, MITI Systems says, helps the serum’s active ingredients – including shea butter and jojoba seed extract – to pass through the skin’s protective film for a more enhanced result. One juror called it an “interesting penetration system already very popular in Japan that [could be interesting to the] Western market.” Another pronounced it “a simple, effective, and outstanding skin care choice with impressive results.” Judges also liked the formula’s very fine crystals, while one called it an interesting addition to the “growing anti-aging market.” “I can see women buying this,” they said.
