Winners - Cosmoprof Awards
The best 2026 beauty products have been unveiled at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna.
The 8th edition of Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards, the “Oscars of Beauty” in collaboration with the international agency BEAUTYSTREAMS, celebrated the excellence of the cosmetic industry among the exhibitors of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna.
Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards 2026 highlighted products, formulations, packaging, design, technology, materials, and ingredients among the most innovative proposals at a global level, rewarding the research and the company investments.
2026 winners are the result of the know-how of more than 30 important personalities of the beauty industry from around the world.
Among the nominations presented by the exhibitors, a technical jury analysed the proposals and their value in terms of innovation, circularity, and appeal to the market. For winners a multidisciplinary jury merged with the technical jury, which expressed the preferences both online and on-site.
What made the winners successful? Let's find out!
FOR GREEN & ORGANIC CATEGORY WINS CAHM EUROPE SA (Romania)
A personal care formula and delivery solution that pushed the boundaries in application, concept, and sustainable ingredients.
“Everything is innovative in this product – application, concept, and ecological ingredients,” said one juror of QPearl® - CycleOne.
The innovation comprises a dispenser made from recyclable stainless steel and Tritan™, a BPA-free plastic, which houses cleansing pearls made from a patented smart biomaterial. The pearls are composed of protein chains that break down upon contact with water to release a concentrated cleansing gel. This system eliminates single-use plastic and reduces CO₂ emissions across the entire value chain by up to 99%. “An excellent concept of system-level innovation with a high relevance for future refill-driven consumption models,” said one juror.
Within the system, one 2 ml pearl equates to 30ml of traditional shower gel, and the formula is stable in humid environments, activating only under running water. Targeted at both consumers and luxury hotel chains, jurors called it a “great combination of a sustainable formula and matching delivery solution.”
FOR HOME & PROFESSIONAL DEVICES & TOOLS CATEGORY WINS MALETTI GROUP (Italy)
A hair washing and treatment innovation to provide consumers with a luxurious, elevated salon experience.
A hair washing unit designed for wellness treatments including Shriodhara Ayurvedic experiences, jurors said that Heaven Soft offers “an experience that is elevated and unique,” while looking both “futuristic and natural.” The unit incorporates Maletti Group’s SHIRODARA waterfall function, which allows for a constant flow of warm water to the scalp for relaxing scalp treatments, and a VAPOMIST steam system to amplify the benefits of treatments, while an IGLOO hood worn over the head
– through which the professional can reach to massage the scalp – enhances the experience. The unit is designed with a fully articulated seat, backrest, and leg rest for comfort and optimal posture for clients during treatments, while the adjustable height allows the professional to work comfortably whether seated or standing. The panel pronounced its design and concept “stunning,” and noted that the wooden and ceramic elements create a “refined design” that consumers will “love.”
FOR HAIR PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS FRAMESI S.P.A. (Italy)
A hair treatment infused with biomimetic, skin-care level ingredients to provide compelling hair restructuring benefits.
Jurors singled out this hair treatment’s “credible biomimetic approach targeting bond repair and scalp health.” Formulated as a biomimetic restructuring and anti-breakage leave-in serum, it reconstructs, strengthens, and protects both scalp and hair fiber. The formula’s key ingredient is a patented biomimetic micro-complex derived from upcycled milk thistle seeds, rich in peptides and antioxidants, to repair damaged keratin, stabilize bonds, and help prevent hair breakage.
And two biomimetic plant peptides – arginine and inositol – also contribute to the formula’s hair-strengthening qualities. Inositol stimulates fibroblast metabolism by increasing cellular energy, oxygen consumption, and the production of elastin and collagen, improving scalp elasticity. And inositol in synergy with arginine supports anchoring protein production for the hair bulb. This combination of actives was judged as a “fantastic ingredient story,” that’s “exciting for customers [who] need to boost hair growth.” The panel pronounced the product “a great example of a skinified hair care formula.”
FOR PERSONAL CARE & BODY CARE PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS FICOSOTA MARKETING NEW YORK LLC (USA)
Infused with edible ingredients to protect babies’ skin, this product was chosen for both its formula and strong design.
Jurors appreciated this baby cleansing formula’s 100% edible ingredients concept. Intended to move beyond merely natural claims, the ingredients are selected with compatibility for babies’ highly permeable skin and accidental ingestion in mind. The formula’s key ingredients include sodium lauroyl oat amino acids, a complex that acts as a gentle natural cleanser with skin-conditioning properties and Rosa damascena flower water which has hydrating, soothing, and softening benefits.
A four-week study on the product demonstrated no reported skin reactions, while a 28-day instrumental study using Corneometer® CM 825 demonstrated an average 5% increase in skin hydration after regular use. The product is also EWG-verified. Alongside the formula, jurors also liked the product’s design, calling the packaging and outer pack “really appealing and cute,” pronouncing the product overall a “beautiful concept and design,” with a “calming” lavender scent.
FOR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS VAGHEGGI SPA (Italy)
A longevity-boosting day cream that offers enhanced efficacy, thanks to a red-light device included in its packaging.
That this longevity-boosting formula is crafted with a Nuon Medical skin care device in the product’s cap, to enhance the product’s benefits, made it a winner for jurors. “A really awesome innovation, [at the] intersection of technology and formula,” said one. The formula is shaped around the longevity molecule NAD+ Activator, that delivers a rejuvenating effect of around 8.2 years. It stimulates regenerative processes, regulates energy production, and helps prevent inflammaging, supporting the skin in counteracting wrinkle formation, collagen loss, and the build-up of cellular waste.
Derived from plant sprouts, this active boosts the production of NAMPT, addressing most of the 12 hallmarks of longevity. And lapacho bark extract helps protect DNA telomeres, contributing to delayed cellular aging. It strengthens the dermal-epidermal junction and stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Jurors also praised the product’s “sustainability and design execution,” calling it “a gamechanger for sure.”
FOR NAIL PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS GLAMLAC OU (Estonia)
An innovation that stood out for employing advanced skin care actives, elevating the nail care category’s narrative.
With its biomimetic lipid barrier restoration – composed of a ceramide-cholesterol-fatty acid complex – paired with exosome-inspired bioactive fruit vesicle technology, jurors liked this nail serum’s strong “skin care science” credentials. Indeed, the formula offers myriad skin care-like benefits to the nails that go beyond surface repair. They include structural repair, a restored nail lipid barrier, reduced splitting and peeling, enhanced resistance to breakage, and support to the nails’ keratin structure.
Added to this, the formula’s microbiome-supportive probiotic system supports a balanced periungual microbiome. And the exosome-inspired botanical complex – including Malus domestica fruit extract, Citrus reticulata fruit extract, and Carica papaya fruit extract – enhances the cellular communication environment, optimizing biological conditions for nail growth, while sodium hyaluronate offers multi-level moisture. One juror praised the formula as offering an “entirely new narrative for this category,” while others noted that it “improves nails’ appearance instantly.”
FOR MAKE-UP PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS FONTANA CONTARINI COSMETICS (Italy)
Skin care actives and blurring ingredients combine to create a powder that succeeds in fusing hydration and aesthetic benefits.
With its fusion of silica, hyaluronic acid, and the ingredient Ener-GY Plus™, this powder garnered praise from jurors for its “refined execution of active-infused powder technology…bridging hydration and complexion enhancement.”
The ingredients deliver a blurred, soft-focus finish while hydrating the skin and plumping it over time. Hyaluronic acid offers lasting hydration, improves elasticity, and smooths fine lines, while silica delivers a soft-focus finish, and the Ener-GY Plus™ ingredient promotes firmness and radiance. Ener-GY Plus™ is a biotechnological active ingredient that combines upcycled citrus lemon fruit extract, glyceryl glucoside, glycerin, and potassium sorbate, and is designed as a “cell energizer,” to optimize mitochondrial activation in the skin. Meanwhile, the water-infused powder technology imparts an immediate sensation of freshness and hydration. “A beautiful light touch powder for finishing without dryness,” said one juror, while another noted that the powder “merges many categories in one outstanding product.”
FOR SUN CARE PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS MONOGLOT HOLDINGS, INC. (South Korea)
This sun mist won plaudits for its cooling, refined feel on the skin, combined with a high SPF and fine mist texture.
The panel praised this non-aerosol sun mist for its “incredible” feeling on the skin, its “fine mist” texture and “instant cooling effect.” Offering SPF 40 PA+++ protection, the mist can be used on the face, body, scalp, and hair and provides an instant cooling effect to immediately reduce the temperature of sun-exposed skin.
Ingredients include a Jeju active complex, a blend of plant extracts grown on South Korea’s Jeju Island that help to soothe irritated skin and strengthen the skin barrier. And aloe vera leaf juice and three types of hyaluronic acid deliver deep and multi-layer hydration to both the outer and deeper layers of the skin. Alongside this is Soothing Cooler™, a patented cooling ingredient that relieves the sensation of heat, providing an instant soothing solution. Jurors added that the product is a “pleasure to use” and that its high SPF “is a plus point, especially for the African [market].”
FOR MEN’S GROOMING PRODUCTS & ACCESSORIES CATEGORY WINS BEARDBURYS ESSENTIALS BY CAROBELS COSMETICS (Spain)
An under-eye care concept for men that offers immediate, visible results, in an appealing, easy-to-use format.
Hangover Power – a concentrated anti-dark circles and anti-puffiness treatment providing immediate correction for the under-eye area – won praise from jurors for its “appealing” concept and its “instant gratification” results. The product’s ingredients include a Lift Complex for an instant tightening effect; hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and fill expression lines; and niacinamide to provide luminosity and reduce dark circles, alongside panthenol, witch hazel, hops extract, and horse chestnut extract. Together they deliver an instant tightening effect, visibly reducing puffiness.
And the cooling metal applicator, incorporated into the packaging, amplifies the decongesting effect, stimulating microcirculation while improving the sensory experience. One panel member noted the concept offers “great packaging for a guy – love the metal tip that gives an instant cooling [effect] for puffy eyes,” with another adding that “any product that can take away dark circles has my vote.”
FOR FRAGRANCE: PERSONAL & HOME CATEGORY WINS PIERRE RENE (Poland)
A scented candle in a hand-crafted vessel whose concept – inspired by the Baltic coast – delivered standout storytelling and product design.
A natural soy wax candle housed in a hand-glazed ceramic vessel – inspired by the Baltic coast – jurors liked this product’s “execution of concept to product to package.” The design evokes a seaside stone that’s been shaped by nature over time, with each hand-crafted vessel unique. The fragrance, meanwhile, is inspired by the sound of waves and the sea breeze, and spotlights top notes of pine and sea notes; heart notes of sea salt, wood, and amber; and base notes of musk and freesia.
The fragrance has been developed to complement the candle’s form and material, to create a narrative rooted in place, memory, and atmosphere. After the candle has burned, the vessel is intended to be used as a decorative or functional home accessory. The panel liked the candle’s “reusable element,” and “beautiful design,” noting that it created “a pleasant and thoughtful home fragrance experience.”
